Breaking Dawn

Well it is the end of August and now well into September. First lines month is over, not that if was much of a month!

But the best first line was found to be from jess:

"Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun."
-Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy-

And now moving on to more important things. Like more books.

It has been found that after reading Breaking Dawn not many people were happy with it, including me.

A lot of jokes have been trolling through the internet about eating out uteruses; it being a fail fan fiction, even artwork on deviant art takes the piss out of what used to be another Harry Potter. At least J.K Rowling wrote the story for herself and not to please her fans!

Did anybody else think that SOMEBODY should have died!!? I was expecting at least Charlie to die.
For me though, I did not read Breaking Dawn so my review is coming from someone that doesn’t have FULL knowledge. Even though people told me everything about it, I couldn’t stand wasting my time reading it just to find out that she went back on all the rules of writing and her own rules with vampires in general, just to please her audience, which she still failed to do seeing as so many people were unhappy.

The fact that she made her main character be reluctant to marry the man she loved, yet be perfectly fine with being pregnant is saying something to small teenagers. It’s not exactly aimed at adults as much as adults can read young adult fiction; it is originally for….young adults!

I can’t even rate this story, it made me so angry I couldn’t finish it, me, book nerd, couldn’t finish a book!

Helsinki on the other hand did read it, so her review would be worth more of a read then my tantrum.

Catch peeps!

Yay, I win. :)

A really vidictive part of me is rather glad the whole universal Twilight obsession went up in flames. I thought it was like a bad fanfiction from book one.

Well done on not finishing it!

After mulling over and over this book, i have come to a conclusion:

i found it too happy for my liking, (as in, i was expecting a big whole 'battle of middle earth' battle like in lord of the rings. And it was kind of a let down to not have that). Edward was very irritating for me because of his over-protectiveness. And i found it too mushy!!! Although, i've always found each of the books equally mushy... Also, i actually predicted Jacob imprinting on Renesmee and the fact that someone can GUESS what's going to happen on the next page is not good in my eyes.

BUT i loved Jacob's point of view, the many blonde jokes and, all in all, despite that i believe that Bella being pregnant just physically, in her universe, cannot be done, i still found it entertaining to read because there was some mystery behind it.
a 5 out of 10 for me. There were some good points and some bad points.
